Condom Fashion Show in China - Models parade in outfits made of condoms during a fashion show at the 4th China Reproductive Health New Technologies & Products Expo in Beijing July 11, 2007. Condoms of all shapes and sizes were used to make dresses, hats and even lollipops. Models fought through extravagant soap bubble special effects to show off tight-fitting wedding gowns, scaly-looking evening dresses, outrageous bikinis and other garments made entirely of condoms. The show was held at the Fourth China Reproductive Health New Technologies and Products Expo and organized by China's largest condom manufacturer, Guilin Latex Factory, to promote the use of condoms in the fight against HIV/AIDS. It also marked World Population Day, organized annually by the U.N. Population Fund.

Shoe shopping

I went shoe shopping this weekend and found some fun shoes at a store in Silverlake. There are a few cool places to buy limited or exclusive tennis shoes here in LA. Undefeated on Sunset Blvd has a great selection of Nike, BAPE, and New Balance. They also have a very cool selection of baby and kids shoes. Check them out.

Out on news stands is the new issue of The Advocate. On the cover is Ian Roberts the out Aussie Rugby Star. There is a great article where he talks about playing Rugby, his acting career, and coming out to his parents. I am also excited to see the article and pictures taken because I was asked to style and create some clothing for this 6'5" pro rugby player. From the folks that brought you Luques and AOC, this is one of the best tasting restaurants in Los Angeles. A bold statement but you eat there and tell us if we are wrong. It’s a tiny space so make reservations. The seafood is extraordinary and be sure to check out the Lobster stuffed roll or the delicious PUG burger, probably the best burger in LA right now.

All cocktails are inventive creations and very tasty. The juices for these signature drinks are freshly squeezed on site and you won’t find a bad drink in the house.

A great place to grab a meal and a drink before a movie at the Cinerama Dome or Arclight theaters or wash down that burger then get lost in Borders Bookstore right across the walk way.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner this Silverlake hotspot is a favorite destination for the locals and is certainly worth the trip if you’re coming from a surrounding neighborhood.

The vast wine and beer selection can wet any appetite. The ambience at night is dark and moody with candles reflecting in large mirrors that tastefully adorn the restaurant. Mac and cheese connoisseurs will love their rendition with truffle oil. The meat, poultry and fish dishes are not to be missed.

Breakfast is full of young families of every sexual orientation and ethnicity. Be sure to check out the blueberry pancakes or eggs benedict.

Blair’s is worth the trip but make a reservation, if not you might have to enjoy a glass of wine or two till your table is ready.

Garrett is one of our hot swim suits models. He participated in the Liquid Dreams runway show to benefit The San Diego Gay and Lesbian Center. Here we catch him looking great in his TIMOTEO swimwear and taking a dip to cool off at the hot pool party in San Diego.

25 Degrees At the Roosevelt Hotel

Now that Hollywood is cool again, its time to check out 25 Degrees. It is the 24-hour restaurant at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. It is open day or night and is great for breakfast, lunch, dinner or that midnight snack.

It’s a cool crowd of locals, tourists and the occasional celeb who’s not afraid to venture out and see what’s happening.

For those that aren’t watching their diet, its burger and fries with a thick chocolate shake and for those that are, well just feel free to have the veggie burger or signature salad.

Be sure to check out Kirstie Alley or Tomkats star right outside. So make a night of it or just grab a burger and go but don’t miss 25 Degrees at the world famous Roosevelt Hotel.

There is a new hot clothing/home store in West Hollywood. Brick and Mortar opened about 3 weeks ago. They carry a great variety of Jeans, Tees, Sweaters, Swimwear, and Home accessories. Liquid Dreams San Diego Pool Party

The guys were ready to party and have a great time at San Diego Pride. One of the hot events was the Liquid Dreams Pool Party on Sunday. It was attended by about 200 guys ready to have a good time.
